Path to Code is an umbrella initiative for our two programming courses: Introduction to Programming and Programming with Python.
Each course is structured in 90-minute long sessions and brought to the high schoolers over 22 weeks.
The Introduction to Programming course is designed to develop a basic understanding of algorithms by developing engaging real-world apps using MIT App Inventor. It is designed to be accessible even to those whose only available device is the internet-connected tablet provided by UiPath Foundation.
The Programming with Python course aims to develop advanced coding skills for students interested in furthering their knowledge. Since March 2024, the students have received laptops donated by UiPath to use during the sessions.
The programming courses are entirely developed by UiPath volunteers, using App Inventor Foundation’s guidelines. The volunteers created guides, monitored, and delivered the sessions as trainers. This project is made possible thanks to their generosity and willingness to share their expertise with the high schoolers in the Own Your Path program.
