About the Program

The Digital Skills program encompasses a series of initiatives designed to provide equitable access to opportunities created by emerging technologies. Developing digital skills is a common theme in our intervention, regardless of the age of the children we work with.

The children and youth enrolled in our programs are part of the digital-native generations, for whom the future will be one shaped by technology and rapid innovations across all aspects of life and social contexts. At the same time, not all of them have access to resources that would support them in developing the skills needed to navigate the digital society with responsibility and discernment.

Our intervention is designed to offer them opportunities they can access to harness their potential and become active participants in the digital world taking shape around them, both through direct support within our programs and through free, public initiatives.

AI Generation Curriculum for High Schools

AI Generation is an AI Literacy curriculum for high schoolers created by UiPath Foundation in partnership with the App Inventor Foundation an initiative of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT).

The curriculum leverages the AI Competency Framework for Students developed by UNESCO and focuses on three competency aspects of the framework: Human-Centered approach, Ethics of AI, and AI techniques and applications. It’s a non-technical course, with interactive lessons, gradually introducing concepts, which makes it accessible to students regardless of their prior knowledge or experience with AI.

The curriculum is now free and open-source, available in Romanian and English for educators worldwide.
